About Us

We are a family owned and operated flower farm. After multiple generations of tobacco farming, we switched over to flower farming in 2017. We started with 5 acres of flowers while building our wedding venue, The Loft at Sunflower Trail. In 2021 we decided to expand our flower farm and purchase 14 additional acres across the road from the venue, which is now known as The Fields at Sunflower Trail.

Having a separate property now allows even more people to be able to come out and enjoy the flowers. Not only are they beautiful to look at, but with our maze you are able to walk through and be totally immersed in the flowers - something that one must experience for themselves. You can also do you-pick flowers as you make your way through the maze and we will wrap them up for you to take home.

 Sunflowers are only available once a year in the summer. Each season runs about 3-4 weeks. Along with our variety of sunflowers, we also grow cosmos and zinnias. Our flowers rang in height anywhere from 3ft-8ft tall depending on the variety and how much rain they receive. We are an organic farm, so no pesticides are used in the growing of our flowers. All of the flowers we have chosen are pollinators, so you're sure to see lots of honey bees and monarch butterflies during your visit. We look forward to meeting you!
